Hi, I’m Aaron,
and this is Gus.

I grew up in Victoria, and after moving to Europe I ran into a familiar problem for pet owners: finding reliable, affordable care. In Munich, overnight sits for my dog Gus were running around $140 a night. The alternative was asking friends, which never felt ideal.

I realized almost every pet owner I met was dealing with the same thing. That’s what pushed me to build Kadoga — a simple, trusted way for neighbours to exchange pet sits and visits using a fair points system. It keeps things transparent, affordable, and rooted in community.

And since Victoria is home, bringing Kadoga here was always part of the plan.

Say hello to Nicole
and Lenny.

Nicole is Kadoga’s Community Manager for Victoria. She’s lived her whole life surrounded by animals and understands how stressful it can be to find care you truly trust. When we first talked about Kadoga, she immediately connected with the mission — especially after needing support for her own pets, Lenny and Sammy, during a difficult period.

Nicole and I have been close friends for years, and she brings warmth, honesty, and a natural ability to make people feel welcome. She’ll be the main point of contact for Kadoga members in Victoria, helping new pet owners get settled and ensuring every exchange reflects the values our community is built on: transparency, kindness, and shared responsibility.

We’re Just Getting Started

Building a community takes time, patience… and members! We are looking for the first 50 “Founding Members” in Victoria. You'll be the first to try Kadoga and help shape the experience.

During the initial launch:

  • Joining is free.

  • Once enough profiles are ready, you’ll receive early access to the Kadoga Member Area and be able to exchange pet care.

  • Payments will only begin once pet sits are consistently happening.

Founding Member benefits:

  • A lifetime price of $59 / year.

  • A “Founding Member” badge on your profile

  • Regular newsletter updates on Kadoga’s progress until and after launch.

You will have an important role to play in building a service that will help pet parents in Victoria and could expand across Canada!

Still have Questions?

  • You’re always in control. Kadoga only connects you with local members. You choose who looks after your pet, and over time you’ll build a Trusted Network so requests go first to people you already know.

  • Membership is $129 / year. Founding Members in Victoria lock in $59 / year for life — less than the cost of one night with a sitter.

  • Kadoga Points (KP) are our community currency. You get a starter grant when you join, earn more by hosting or visiting pets, and spend them when you need care for your own.
